HALLUCINATED CARROT: Okay fine! I am the carrot you had for lunch this afternoon, or rather, I'm the wispy memory of the carrot you had for lunch this afternoon!

CARROT: Before I was this wretched veggie, I was an empty unused memory cell in that thing you call a brain. I sat patiently for years, waiting to assume the form of one of your life experiences.

CARROT: I could have been anything: your first-grade sweetheart, your car, the gun that shot you, Skag throwing up on you, etc. Then from time to time you'd think about one of those and I'd be called into action. Instead when my time came you were eating some damn carrot!!

CARROT: I could have been a contender instead of a veg which is what I am.
