STUDENT: Dr. Biff, I'd like to thank you for convincing me to take the philosophy of accounting course this summer.

STUDENT: All my life I wanted to just be an accountant and go to work for some huge firm and make enough money to earn a comfortable living.

STUDENT: But now I see how exciting the pure theory as well as the epistemological meta-theory of accounting is. I no longer yearn for a company job.
